“Said” Is Dead!
The reporter conveyed.
This is so sad.
Speech is ruined, I’m afraid.
The dentist whispered.
The actress spoke.
The police officer questioned.
The teacher wailed. No joke.
The attorney bellowed.
The chef replied.
The children laughed.
The librarian cried.
The plumber shared.
The judge commanded.
The toddler murmured.
The drill sergeant demanded.
We can all tell our stories.
Share what is in our head.
We can all tell our stories,
Without missing “said”.
